The State Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year-olds, based on the needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.

As an Assistant Teacher, you are:

  • Caring: Follow all licensing guidelines, company standards and grant program requirements to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom.
  • Engaged: Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
  • Knowledgeable: Complete extensive training that provides insight on child care, preschool and development topics.
  • Creative: Implement curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children.

We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who have:

  • Associates in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related or an active CDA in Preschool.
  • Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field.
  • The ability to meet state requirements for education and our center requirements.
  • Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Pay $17.34 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered.
  • Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
  • Limited medical offered for part-time workers.
  • Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification available to all employees.
  • Monday-Friday work week.
