You will have a big part in supporting individuals facing mental health challenges, helping them on their journey to recovery, independence, and overall wellbeing. You will assess a person’s mental capacity under the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) 2005, making sure any decisions made on their behalf are in their best interests. You will also use the Care Act 2014 to identify needs, create person-centred care plans, and safeguard vulnerable adults.
