HGV Driver Class 1 - Manchester

Pay Rates:

• Monday to Sunday: £19.98 to £22.89 per hour
• Overtime after 36.25 hours £22.89
• All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately

We’re recruiting for Class 1 trunking work—simple, no-touch runs between depots and RDCs, with minimal load interaction and consistent shift patterns. Ideal for drivers who prefer straightforward routes and reliable hours. We have assessments available asap for those looking to start immediately.

Typical shifts start times are between 12:00-23:59 however some morning shifts are available. Most drivers average 10-12 hours per shift. Bookings are allocated every Thursday for the following week, including start and planned finish time, helping to align your personal and professional commitments and aid a better work life balance.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
• Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
• Minimum 2 years of recent HGV driving experience required
• No more than 5 penalty points (minor offences only)
