About us Lycée International de Londres Winston Churchill is an independent school in Wembley offering a bilingual education. The school opened its doors in September 2015 and now welcomes students from Nursery class to Year 13. Located in the splendid Brent Town Hall, the Lycée offers state-of-the-art facilities and learning tools. The school is looking for a Premises/facilities assistant (cover) from 17 June to 24 July 2025. The end date may be subject to change. Overview This is a 21 hours a week position, 3 days per week, Tuesday to Thursday The contract will start on 17 June 2025 and end on 24 July 2025 The nature of the contract (cover) means the end date may be subject to change The successful candidate will provide efficient support to the Facilities (Premises) & Security Manager in the day-to-day running of the School’s premises Additionally, the post holder will be expected to observe safe working practices in carrying out the required duties and ensure that instructions specified by technical consultants, contractors and manufacturers are adhered to As a member of our team, the successful candidate will be keen on working around students The successful candidate must already have the right to work in the UK. Salary/Hour £13.15 per hour (or £14.86 including holiday pay) Working Pattern 21 hours per week, from Tuesday to Thursday, from 8am to 4pm, including a 1-hour unpaid lunch break What your day will look like: assist with maintaining the security of the premises and its contents in accordance with the School’s requirements undertake “handypersons” duties as directed by the Premises & Security Manager respond to emergencies with gas, electricity and water and, if necessary, liaise with the Premises & Security Manager undertake porterage tasks as required including setting up and clearing away furniture assist with any periodic planned preventative maintenance as required grounds maintenance, such as litter picking and leaf sweeping carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job What we\’re looking for Enhanced DBS to work in our school – the school will assist you in obtaining one if needed Professional English (French is not needed but is a bonus) GCSE minimum or equivalent preferable Problem-solving skills, proactive and forward thinking Ability to adapt quickly Strong team spirit Punctuality and reliability #J-18808-Ljbffr
