Are you passionate about supporting young people in their personal and academic development? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mentor and Tutor to work with two Key Stage 3 students in the Portsmouth area for between 21-25 hours per week.
As a Mentor/Tutor, you will:
- Drive the young person from home and school and undertake mentoring activities in the community.
- Understand the needs, interests and goals of the young person that you are mentoring, to plan engaging tasks/activities.
- Assist the young person in your care to develop their confidence.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Record student progress and report on this weekly.
- Be understanding, empathetic and patient.
- Record attendance.
- Be organised, dependable and creative.

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:

To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
