Oasis is eager to recruit a proactive ICT Technician Apprentice with a mature, 'can do' attitude. The successful candidate will undertake a variety of tasks and gain comprehensive experience within a busy technical environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the smooth operation of ICT systems to support teaching, learning, administration, and leadership.
  • Facilitate effective use of ICT by staff and students, enhancing their understanding and experience of ICT.
  • Provide remote and face-to-face technical support as per the academy's ICT support service standards.
  • Support pupils and staff in using ICT appropriately through advice and training.
Required skills:
  • Background in IT technical support.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for customer service.
  • Strong technical abilities.
  • Excellent audiovisual skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay task-driven.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
Entry requirements:
  • At least 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 (C) or above in any subjects.
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D) or above.
  • Applicants must not hold a qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject.
  • Applicants with a combination of qualifications and experience demonstrating the necessary foundation may also be considered.
  • International qualifications must be accompanied by official documentation comparing them to UK standards.
Working hours: 37 hours per week
