As a Senior Civil Engineer you will be involved in the full scope of civil engineering works with your responsibilities including:

  • Acting as Project Engineer for the technical and commercial management of projects.
  • Managing design costs.
  • Managing and supervising Graduate Engineers and Technicians.
  • Production of design briefs and programmes.
  • Producing regular project reviews.
  • Resource planning.
  • Contributing towards staff development.

You will be given support to develop the team and the business unit in the office in line with your area of expertise and preference.

To take on this role you will need to be a Degree qualified Civil Engineer who has achieved Chartered Engineer status or is close to completion. You must be familiar with current UK design codes and have gained previous experience in civils design: foundations, roads, drainage and SUDS. In previous roles, you will have demonstrated excellent problem-solving abilities and project management skills. You will be keen to take the lead in this team and will have good communication and organisational skills.
