Head Barista – Vibrant Independent Coffee Shop in Bermondsey

Bartons is a popular, independent coffee shop in Bermondsey, not far from Tower Bridge. We’re looking for a cheerful, confident and skilled Head Barista to help lead and train our team.

You’ll work closely with our existing manager, supporting day-to-day operations and keeping coffee quality top-notch. We’re proud of our friendly, welcoming atmosphere and are looking for someone who fits right in.

Your responsibilities: – Dialling in, calibrating espresso, steaming milk, and latte art (rosettas, tulips, swans) – Training junior baristas and supporting team development – Maintaining and cleaning La Marzocco machines and grinders (Mythos 1, Mahlkönig) – Engaging customers with a smile and great conversation – Keeping workflow smooth, efficient and tidy

You must have: – 3+ years barista experience – Strong coffee knowledge and leadership ability – Friendly, positive, team-first attitude
