This school is seeking a passionate and skilled Spanish/French Teacher to join a vibrant Modern Languages department. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students to explore different cultures, enhance their communication skills, and gain a global perspective by learning Spanish or French. Duties as a Spanish/French Teacher:
- Deliver Inspiring Lessons: Teach Spanish or French (or both, depending on the curriculum) across Key Stages 3 and 4 and, where applicable, Key Stage 5.
- Cultural Enrichment: Introduce students to the rich cultural, historical, and literary heritage of Spanish- or French-speaking countries.
- Enhance Communication: Develop students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills through engaging, interactive, and communicative teaching methods.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the planning and review of the language curriculum, ensuring it remains dynamic and relevant.
- Assess and Support: Use a variety of assessment tools to monitor student progress and provide tailored support, feedback, and encouragement.
- Extracurricular Engagement: Support language clubs, exchange programmes, cultural events, and trips to foster a love for languages.
Ideal Spanish/French Teacher:
- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in Modern Languages, Spanish, French, or a related field.
