Job Description: Principal Engineer – Computing and IT (Network)
Job Title: Principal Engineer – Computing and IT (Network)
Location: Coventry. Hybrid and flexible working arrangements available Salary: Up to £61,500 per annum depending on skills and experience
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop design solutions to meet agreed time, cost, and quality requirements in line with project or business milestones.
- Manage requirements and overall acceptance criteria specific to systems and products across platforms or programmes.
- Attend factory acceptance tests and assist in developing test procedures.
- Produce documentation to support the design review process, including diagrams, technical specifications, calculations, and design evidence.
- Ensure comprehensive design proving evidence is captured within requirements management tools and endorsed by the appropriate authority.
- Conduct design reviews and presentations for stakeholders.
- Mentor team members as needed at the Principal level.
Your Skills and Experiences:
- STEM degree such as BEng (Hons) / MEng or relevant IT Computing experience.
- Proven technical report writing and presentation skills.
- Demonstrable experience with the systems engineering lifecycle.
- Proven track record in network infrastructure systems design.
