Our client is a well-established Managed Service Provider based in Central London.

Position Overview

You will be the primary point of contact for clients, providing both onsite and remote support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys desk work and engaging with clients face-to-face.

Responsibilities

  • Client Interaction: Engage directly with clients, offering solutions and support for IT-related issues.
  • Project Management: Oversee projects from diagnostics to resolution, including onboarding/offboarding staff and conducting inductions.
  • Technical Mastery: Handle desktop, application, and network support, including installation of networking equipment like switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Networking Expertise: Work with TCP/IP, VLANs, and networking hardware, preferably UniFi, Aruba, and Cisco.
  • Collaborative Troubleshooting: Work with third-party technical teams to support PDQs and ePOS systems, with training provided.

Candidate Requirements

Essential Skills and Personal Qualities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing PCs and Macs in a business environment.
  • Familiarity with Office 365 or G Suite environments.
  • Proficiency in networking hardware and troubleshooting TCP/IP issues.
  • Experience with firewalls, security software, and internet technologies.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to visit client sites for patching and crimping from day one.
