We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Junior Primary Teachers to fill 2 vacancies. This position requires the capacity to teach within the framework of the IB Primary Years Programme and the Australian Curriculum. Working collaboratively with year level teams and single subject teachers will be central to the role in the Primary School.

The teacher's priority is to ensure that learning and teaching encourages student engagement and is carried out within the context of the Mission, Vision and Values of Concordia, including the Christian foundations of the College. Demonstrated ability to collaboratively design and implement authentic concept driven units of work which encourage inquiry are essential to this position.

The successful applicant will be employed to work as a Junior Primary Classroom Teacher taking responsibility for the provision of the learning programme, whilst working collaboratively with other staff. Teachers need to demonstrate their understanding and ability to ensure that student's wellbeing is catered for within the classroom. An understanding of Restorative Practice would be an advantage.

The teacher will be expected to work cooperatively with other staff members and contribute more broadly to the community. The role maintains a steadfast commitment to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people, with a specific focus on child protection and spiritual, social, academic and physical development.
