About the role

At Lindsay & Gilmour, we are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to our community. Our team works collaboratively with each other and with other healthcare providers, to ensure the highest standards of patient care. You will play a key part in leading the pharmacy team, working across the healthcare area and dispensary, to meet patients’ needs. Your focus each day will be to look after your team, deliver a great service to our patients, through managing the workload and people to deliver on the operational requirements of the position. This position is a relief position so you will be expected to work and travel between our different branches. A full driving license is desirable. This is a great opportunity to further your career in pharmacy.

Job Description

  • Accurately providing prescription medications to patients.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and addressing patient queries.
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records.
  • Delivering exceptional standards through operational compliance to ensure efficiency and maximise profitability.
  • Managing stock, including ordering, date checking, and organizing medications.
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal and professional requirements.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and promote our services.

What you’ll need to have

  • Registered with the GPhC and have experience of working in community pharmacy in Scotland.
  • At least 1 year’s experience working in community pharmacy.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using different IT systems.
