Attention all Hydraulic Modellers! Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Hydraulic Modeller to join a global leading engineering consultancy, in a permanent position. You will be required to work in a hybrid position, attending one of our clients’ offices across the UK, 3 days a week. This is a great opportunity to work on exciting clean and wastewater treatment projects in the UK.
Salary: Up to £65,000, depending on experience + flexible benefits package.
Generous holiday allowance, including bank holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Build and apply hydraulic models to assess flood risk, drainage, and surface water systems using industry-standard software.
- Support project delivery from feasibility to detailed design, contributing technical insights and modelling expertise.
- Prepare reports and present findings to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate across disciplines and contribute to proposals and bids with technical input.
What we are looking for:
Essential:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, or a related discipline.
- Must have 6+ years’ experience as a Hydraulic Modeller.
- Knowledge of UK drainage standards, flood risk policies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficient with Infoworks ICM.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
- Membership of or working towards membership of a relevant professional institution (e.g., CIWEM, ICE).
