Job Details
HR & Payroll Coordinator – 12‑month fixed term contract supporting Cencora’s wholesale distribution services through Alliance Healthcare in Europe. The role is based at the Coatbridge site and reports to the Regional Team Manager. Working hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, with a hybrid arrangement requiring office presence at least three times per week.
Principal Accountabilities
- Time and Attendance Management – monitor and approve overtime and absences; record annual leave and other absences in the Time & Attendance system; calculate sickness absence payments in line with company and statutory pay.
- Onboarding and Off‑boarding Processes – manage effective onboarding for new hires (paperwork, references, integration); calculate final payments for leavers; train a backup coordinator.
- Payroll Processing and Accuracy – use Workday and ProMark to process data changes; verify payroll runs and correct errors; liaise with Central Payroll.
- Data Security and Compliance – securely file member information; respond to data requests; support Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs); run audits and report to the Regional Team Manager.
- Reporting and Documentation – produce weekly Service Centre Labour Cost Report; prepare and run monthly payroll reports; maintain SOP documentation.
- Employee Relations and Policy Guidance – act as the point of contact for team member queries; provide first‑level employee relations advice.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, independent, and team‑oriented environment.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures within a warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
- Knowledge of payroll terminology and experience with HRIS systems.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills; ability to prioritise and multi‑task.
- Technical aptitude with Microsoft Office 365 and other HR systems.
Desirable Requirements
- Procedural knowledge of payroll and employment relations.
- Health & Safety and security procedures familiarity.
- Good working knowledge of ProMark, Workday, and ServiceNow.
