Locum Senior Speech & Language Therapist (with Dysphagia Experience)

Location: Milton Keynes (TEM House Service)

Contract: Locum – ASAP start, ideally 3 months

Hours: Flexible

About the Role:

Brainkind is seeking an experienced Senior Speech & Language Therapist with strong dysphagia expertise to join our TEM House service in Milton Keynes on a locum basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work with adults with acquired brain injury and neurological conditions, providing specialist assessment and intervention in a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct complex speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments
• Develop and implement personalised therapy plans focused on dysphagia management
• Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and families to support holistic rehabilitation
• Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation

Requirements:

• HCPC registered Speech & Language Therapist
• Significant experience in dysphagia assessment and management
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Immediate availability preferred
