About the Role

As an Apprentice Finance Assistant at MKC Training Services (MKCTS), you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience while assisting in delivering high-quality financial services. Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management & Analysis: Assist in gathering and analysing data using spreadsheets and other tools, presenting results in clear and concise formats.
  • Internal Audits: Support internal audit activities to ensure compliance with MKCTS operations.
  • Processing Financial Transactions: Handle purchase data entry, invoice processing, and reconciliation of purchasing card statements within deadlines.
  • Customer Support: Assist with supplier queries and support MKCTS staff with finance-related inquiries.
  • Administrative Duties: Provide administrative support, including managing electronic and hard copy filing systems, issuing rail warrants, and processing eye test vouchers.
  • Third-Party Contracts: Support administrative tasks related to third-party income generation and external contracts.

All tasks must comply with relevant legal and audit requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential:

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently.

Desirable:

  • Experience with data analysis and using financial reports for decision-making.
  • Familiarity with office administrative tasks or experience in a public sector organisation.
  • Experience working with databases and performing financial analysis.
