At our ARU Writtle campus, we specialise in animal, environmental, agricultural and horticultural courses, for learners aged 16 to 18, adult learners, undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly transport department. At ARU Writtle, we operate a shuttle bus service catering to students commuting between Chelmsford and our Writtle campus during Further Education term periods. As a Minibus Driver, you will provide a friendly and approachable service ensuring students are collected as planned, and that discipline and student safety are maintained during their journey. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday working a split shift collecting and transporting students to Writtle University College in the morning and returning them in the afternoon/evening. Some flexibility may be required, depending on department needs, to enable mandatory training, and to support department requirements.
It is an essential requirement of this role that you hold a driving licence with a D1 or PSV/PVC category.
