Morgan Hunt is delighted to be partnering with a rapidly growing organisation in Inverness to recruit an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company during an exciting period of growth. The role offers hybrid working, with just one day per week required in the Inverness office.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a 2nd/3rd line escalation point for the service desk team, resolving complex technical incidents and problems.
- Design, implement, and support infrastructure solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Take full ownership of tickets, incidents, and maintenance tasks - managing them through to resolution with clear and consistent communication.
- Ensure systems remain secure, supported, and up to date by maintaining and patching customer estates.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal technical standards, procedures, and documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Proven experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure, including identity, security, tenant configuration, and ongoing management.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, with a methodical and analytical approach.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Package & Benefits

- Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
