The predicted salary is between 64000 - 96000 £ per year.

Axon Moore is delighted to be working with a new client in Birchwood, a Private Equity Backed corporate planning to go through an exit in the next few years. This is a complex and multi-faceted business with different service lines, divisions and products. They are highly acquisitive and continue to bolt-on new businesses around the UK. I am working with the Group CFO to find an FP&A lead for the business. It will be titled Group FP&A Manager to begin with, but will progress to Head of FP&A in title as the role expands.

The main mandate of the role is to build a business model for the group with a fully integrated balance sheet, P&L and cash-flow model. Beyond this, the FP&A Lead will be responsible for managing external advisors in the preparatory phase of readying the business for sale in a few years time.

The main pre-requisites are:

  • A fully qualified candidate (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Advanced excel skill set with experience of business modelling (Essential)
  • Ideally exposure to private equity or an environment that has experienced a lot of M&A
