The role
We seek an enthusiastic, motivated prescriber passionate about digital health to join our growing team. The candidate must be qualified to practice in the UK to help provide high-quality remote consultation services. You will collaborate with leading experts in digital health and work closely with growth, product, and marketing teams within a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and customer care staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
Our core operational team includes nonmedical prescribers and doctors ensuring patient safety is prioritized. You will participate in case discussions, treat patients following guidelines, and contribute to service improvements. We foster an open-minded environment focused on providing comprehensive healthcare, with opportunities for personal and professional development led by clinicians, technologists, and entrepreneurs. We accept applications for both full-time and part-time prescribers.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing, making treatment decisions, and prescribing according to formulary and SOPs.
- Providing expert knowledge in general health, men’s health, diagnostics, and weight loss.
- Offering medicines information and education to patients, prescribers, and staff.
- Participating in team meetings to suggest service improvements.
- Following SOPs to ensure quality patient care.
- Delivering excellent customer care and engaging patients via live chat.
- Reviewing diagnostics like blood tests.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records.
- Reporting incidents and participating in investigations with clinical governance.
- Identifying and voicing clinical risks proactively.
- Prioritizing tasks effectively and providing care in line with guidelines.
- Engaging in clinical quality improvement and expanding service offerings.
- Willingness to learn and upskill for broader service provision.
Requirements:
- Qualified nonmedical prescriber registered with GPhC, GMC, or NMC, with independent prescribing experience.
- Extensive experience in a clinical, patient-facing setting (primary care, secondary care, or digital health).
- Excellent communication skills, with perfect grammar and spelling.
- Proven ability to deliver excellent patient experiences.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
- Strong IT skills and experience with electronic prescribing systems.
- Passion for delivering top-tier patient care and innovative problem-solving.
- Commitment to professional development and experiential learning.
- Interest in telehealth, digital health, and telemedicine.
- Ability to prioritize effectively.
Mandatory training: Safeguarding Adults L3, GDPR, information governance, autism awareness.
