Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- To be fully aware of hotel facilities and activities
- To act in a professional and polite manner to all guests and customers at all times
- To set up Conference and Banqueting suites in accordance to requirements, ensuring the brand standards are maintained throughout
- To have knowledge of setting up, safe operation, storage and safe handling and care of hotel's audio visual equipment
- To service and break down Conference and Banqueting rooms as directed
- To check customer satisfaction and offer further requirements
- To explore all sales opportunities endeavouring to maximise potential revenue at all times
- To ensure all storage areas for equipment are kept in a safe and tidy condition
- To carry out equipment preparation for Conference and Events Operations department as per requirements
- To be fully aware of and observe current liquor licensing laws
- To be fully aware of and observe security procedures laid down by the hotel
- To ensure all stock and equipment is correctly locked away and kept safe
- To attend all training, as required
- To adhere to all company procedures on health and safety and hygiene including maintaining cleanliness of work areas at all times
- Maintain correct standards of dress, as laid down in the grooming policy
- To be fully aware of the fire evacuation procedures
- To report any accidents, to guests and staff and potential hazards
- To carry out any reasonable tasks requested by the Hotel General Manager and Management team
