Technical Specification

Role Purpose
As a Construction Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will provide a key role assisting our project teams deliver projects whilst maintaining high standards in health, safety and quality. The candidate will supervise and provide assurance oversight for site works, including assisting project teams in the completing of related quality assurance documents. By conducting audits, inspections, and tests, you will ensure high-quality, compliant, and safe construction.
Role Summary
- Monitor sites compliance with Enisca Brownes Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
- Provide technical construction experience
- Review project risk assessments, safe systems of work and construction phase health, safety and environmental management plans
- Recommend risk mitigation strategies for construction activities
- Assist project teams with production of quality management plans including ITPs
- Monitor projects compliance to specifications as detailed in quality management plans
- Monitor that construction activities and materials supplied by subcontractors comply with relevant standards, specifications, and legislation
- Assist the SHEQ Manager on the assessment and appointment of supply chain partners
- Assist with the review and development of Quality Management procedures and processes
- Suspend work at any time where compliance with health, safety or environmental legislation is in question and implement corrective action before leaving site where at all possible
- Assist with incident investigations
- Produce reports on work/projects/activities carried out
- Foster a positive Health and safety culture within the team and contractors
- Attending company and client offices as required
- Carry out any other duties appropriate to this post
