There is an opportunity at BGC Group for an experienced Broker in our London office. This is an exciting and dynamic opportunity to be part of a highly experienced team who are eager to teach and train new recruits. Key Responsibilities:
- Working as part of a team to cover UK/European/Asia/US markets so flexibility around hours will be required.
- Executing Client orders on a TT Front end Platform.
- Creating liquidity by obtaining dealing prices and interests from clients, for the desk.
- Developing and enhancing existing client relationships through identifying client needs and building strong working relationships with new and existing clients.
- Demonstrate a high level of product and market knowledge in order to provide a professional and profitable service to the Firm’s clients with an extensive knowledge of market data systems.
- A firm understanding of compliance regulations and FCA requirements, including a specific understanding of market practice and compliance regulations in relation to product.
- Adhere to relevant risks and controls in place including adhering to risk limits, only service onboarded clients and perform/adhere to the key controls that impact the business.
- Keep abreast of market and regulatory developments in relation to their product area.
Personal attributes:
- Must have previous broking experience, ideally 2-3 years minimum.
- Experience in the Futures and Options Market.
- Must have NFA Series 3 qualification CISI Regulations & Derivatives qualification.
- Strong analytical mindset.
