Role Overview
Join our health & safety advisory team in the Midlands as an Associate Director. This full-time, permanent role involves working from Leicester or Birmingham offices, with a mix of office, site, and home work. Responsibilities include delivering high standards of safety, health, and wellbeing services, including audits, coaching, and policy development.
Key Duties
- Conduct health & safety audits using iAuditor/Safety Culture.
- Develop and implement systems, procedures, and policies.
- Produce reports and action plans.
- Create policies, risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and safe working practices.
- Assist clients with SSIP accreditations.
- Build relationships with clients and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Deliver training, coaching, and conduct accident investigations.
- Advise on wellbeing initiatives for the construction sector.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in a similar health & safety role within construction.
- Strong knowledge of the Building Safety Act.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to learn new reporting systems quickly.
- Ability to review risk assessments and advise on control measures.
- Knowledge of RAMS.
- Proficient in report writing and IT skills.
- Full UK driving license.
- NEBOSH certificate (essential), CMIOSH or working towards Chartered status (desirable), and CSCS card (essential).
