We are seeking a skilled Clean Water Network Modeller or Engineer to join a larger design consultancy based in multiple offices across the UK. Our client is currently leading in the water networks field and due to continued growth and workload, they are looking for skilled individuals to progress their career. This team works across the discipline within the water and wastewater projects. This will include the design of trunk mains and water supply networks, as well as drainage schemes to prevent flooding and other pollution problems. You will work on feasibility studies to support environmental recommendations using computer software.
Responsibilities:
- Awareness of clean water network modelling – InfoWorks, GIS, Synergee.
- Working on feasibility studies/projects.
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders, contractors, and other professionals in the industry.
As a Senior, you will need:
- Clean water modelling and distribution networks experience.
- Experience using network models and analysing for planning, operational, and design purposes.
- Management and mentoring of a team of clean water modellers.
- Implementation of industry-leading solutions and development of innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
- BSc/BEng/MEng degree level in geography, GIS, science, engineering related subject, or equivalent, considered with appropriate professional qualifications at the senior levels.
- Technician roles require HNC, HND level qualification in similar subjects.
- Opportunities to work towards qualifications will be available for the successful candidates.
