As we continue our global growth, we are seeking a Senior Corporate and Consumer Communications Manager to oversee our corporate and consumer communications efforts, promoting the sport and brand worldwide.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global consumer/lifestyle and corporate communications strategies.
  • Create compelling narratives around news stories, including ESG, DE&I efforts, partnerships, licensing, media rights, and race promotion activities.
  • Manage F1’s global PR activities through the team, external agencies, and regional promoters.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Develop campaigns that highlight key business priorities and generate continuous news flow.
  • Identify story angles and develop new ideas around the business.
  • Plan and produce communication materials and assets proactively.
  • Lead and manage the communications team to ensure high standards and timely delivery.
  • Act as a key press office representative at various races.
  • Additional responsibilities include crisis management support, day-to-day activity support, collaboration across teams, drafting and issuing communication materials, coordinating with other channels, advising senior executives, and working closely with the Senior Motorsport Communications Manager.

About You

  • Extensive experience in in-house or agency communications for large brands, with responsibility for global strategy and activity.
  • Proven success in securing coverage in international media.
  • Experience in crisis handling and people management.
  • Agency management experience preferred.
  • Strong social media expertise.
  • Strategic and creative thinking skills.
  • Understanding of the global news landscape.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours and during races.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong verbal communication and influencing skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to advise senior leaders.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
