At this exciting stage of growth, we are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Support Technician for a role within our operations department to work as part of a team delivering first-class customer service to our clients in the sports sector.
Working Locations: Home/Office/Customer *Note: Only candidates who are eligible to live and work in the UK need apply*
Hours: 37.5 per week (full-time) + Out of Hours Emergency Support.
Contract: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
The role is varied but will include:
- Logging and progressing 1st/2nd line Support Calls using an established support system.
- Following up on customer care calls.
- Promoting the latest products and services to customers.
- Maintaining and exceeding customer service standards.
- Working to KPI and SLA standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Resolving outstanding calls within relevant timeframes.
- Providing out of hours emergency support on a rotational basis.
- Producing training documentation for our products and services.
- Delivering products and services professionally and timely.
- Implementing systems at customer sites and providing stakeholder training.
- QA of new product releases and updating user documentation.
- Performing other duties as assigned by line management.
Requirements:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and phone manner.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholder levels.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and stay calm under pressure.
- Basic knowledge and experience with Windows 10.
- Full UK driving license and use of a personal car.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in customer support, preferably on an IT help desk.
- Experience with MySQL.
- IT qualification.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in a software company, with knowledge of Retail and/or Sports industries.
