Based in a Dundee primary school, appointments will be made to specific schools on a supply basis. When work is available you will be contacted through Teacher Booker. There is no obligation on the Children and Families Service to offer you work, nor are you obliged to accept work. Requirements

  • You will be GTCS Registered (Primary).
  • Have knowledge of relevant curriculum areas and an awareness of main current issues in Scottish education.
  • For Roman Catholic schools, you will also be required to apply for RC Church approval at the same time as submitting your application form.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will require to join the PVG Scheme to undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
