Fixed Term of 18 months to 31st March 2027 (in the first instance). To start 1 September 2025. St Luke's is a happy, child-centred school looking for a dedicated and passionate Apprentice EYFS (Nursery) Teaching Assistant to join our committed, nurturing team in our school nursery.

The position is for 35 hours per week, term-time only. As an apprentice, you will learn through on-the-job training and gain valuable experience to support you in gaining your qualification. A dedicated mentor will be assigned and you will work alongside an experienced team of colleagues who will supervise and guide you throughout your apprenticeship.
To be eligible for this apprenticeship you should ideally hold (exam results may be pending) a Grade 4 in English and Maths or equivalent. Our successful candidate will be enthusiastic, with a positive attitude and strive for high aspirations for children's learning and behaviour, consistently placing children at the heart of everything they do. Endless patience and a ready smile are an advantage! You should be someone with flexibility, a positive outlook, and an ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also be supportive of the values of our church school and committed to our vision and ethos, ensuring everyone can become the best they can be.
