Responsibilities of the role:
- Working in teams on reactive and planned maintenance jobs
- Working safely at height daily
- Cladding, commercial, traditional, and industrial roofing maintenance
- Guttering repairs and replacement
- Flexible working hours, including working away, early starts, late finishes, and some weekends as required
- Availability to be on call on a rota basis
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Pride in workmanship and accountability
- Using portable devices for dynamic risk assessments and reporting on completed works
Required but not essential:
- IPAF (1b, 3a, eb)
- CSCS labourer or skilled worker
- PASMA
- Driving Licence
- First aid certification
- NVQ in slating & tiling or sheeting & cladding
- Experience in reactive building maintenance (leaks, rectification, pitched roofing, guttering, etc.)
