Job Description: SAP ABAP Developer - UK-wide, Hybrid - British Citizens Only (you need to undergo Security Clearance checks) - Permanent Job - Flexible Start Date from July 2025 Onwards. Salary up to £98,000/annum + Excellent Benefits + Bonus + Car.
Our World-Leading Consultancy client, who provide cutting edge and fast-evolving technical solutions to transform their customer's business needs, with 85% of the 200 largest public companies globally as their customers, are looking to hire an ABAP Developer, focusing on developing applications on SAP's Business Technology Platform using the latest technologies, including S/4HANA, Node.js, and Java.
As leaders in SAP technologies, they ensure their consultants are educated and well-equipped in the latest SAP technologies/offerings, providing a vast amount of free learning and SAP certifications. This opportunity is public sector focused which will involve Security Clearance checks that you will need to undergo during the recruitment process, therefore we can only consider applications from British Citizens.
Role Requirements:- Deliver development services from across the Company portfolio in a fast-changing environment.
- Drive the industrialization of services delivery and the implementation process.
- Understand and practice value-based fit to standard delivery approach.
- Ensure customer success, satisfaction, and reference ability in SAP projects.
- Experience of implementing ABAP Programming, preferably Object Oriented.
- Experience with a selection of other development objects, for example Function Modules, Data dictionary objects, BADI, BAPI, User-Exits, Web Services Gateway OData Services, CDS Views, ABAP for S/4HANA, Smart forms, Reports, or performance tuning is advantageous.
- Strong customer focus with good client facing consulting capability as roles are working collaboratively with our clients, and on behalf of our clients with their suppliers.
- Playing an active part in Process Improvement, ensuring compliance with all relevant quality processes and procedures, including completion of all the specified quality records.
- The role can be based in one of multiple locations throughout the UK, with a mixture of hybrid working and onsite client travel (project dependent).
