Our client, a leading global company, are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join them on the team to support on additional workload that has come into the team.
Hybrid working 3 days per week in the office (More office working during month end).
Role:
- Provide ad hoc relevant management information to management, colleagues and other teams within the businesses where requested, maintaining quality service for business as usual activities.
- Updates existing/creates new processes and procedures documents to ensure the documents are current and accurate.
- Manages assigned projects and contribute to other projects as required.
- Understand and prepare balance sheet account reconciliation including investigation and resolution of identified issues/concerns.
- Understand and prepare recharges from the main service company.
- Monthly revenue reporting, to include posting and reconciliation of Technical Ledgers.
- Performance of month end close requirements to a strict timetable for the business unit.
- Production of analysis for input to the forecasting and budgeting processes.
Skills:
- Technical knowledge of financial reporting under UK accounting standards.
- MS Office Literate (advanced Excel - nested vlookups, data manipulation, pivot tables etc).
- Previous experience of operating as an Accountant within a Financial Services environment would be desirable but not essential.
- Qualified for a recognised body (ACCA/CIMA etc).
