Warehouse Operative Lates

Meridian is looking to hire a Warehouse Operative for a temporary ongoing position. You\’ll be joining a small team of logistics workers in a packing and distribution area, working in a clean factory environment for a manufacturing firm in Cheltenham.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 2pm – 11.30pm

Warehouse Operative duties will include:

• Packing items for dispatch;
• Picking items to order and updating changes to stock levels (using electronic hand held terminal/scanner);
• Completing related paperwork;
• Checking containers for correct contents and reporting errors;
• Support other warehouse operatives;

Skills/experience required for Warehouse Operative:

• Please note a 3 year referencing period and DBS check is essential for this role.
• Previous experience in a warehouse role;
• A strong level of literacy and numeracy (counting out items, checking part numbers, completing some basic paperwork);
• Ability to work at height as the role will involve working on a VNA truck at times;
• Forklift licence / experience would be advantageous;
• Powered pallet truck, lifting equipment would be advantageous but are not essential for this role.
