Description:
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in reading, writing, math, and executive functioning instruction to join our Resource Room team for grades 3, 4, and 5. Experience with various evidence-based reading programs is preferred. The candidate should possess effective communication skills to supervise education technicians, collaborate with general education staff, work with families, and be an active team member in special education. Knowledge and experience in writing IEPs and understanding of state and federal special education regulations are highly desirable.
Qualifications:
- Maine DOE Certification Endorsement 282, K-8: Teacher of Children with Disabilities
Maine law requires all school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC). A copy of your CHRC and certification must be uploaded with your application to be considered.
