Skills:
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer focusing on routing, switching, Cisco WiFi
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., QoS, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, 802.11, 802.1x, IPSEC)
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools including Cisco ThousandEyes
- Primarily a network engineer role with core competency of Routing & Switching
- Comfortable working on CISCO and Checkpoint firewalls
- Needs to work very closely with the UC team to help set up MS Teams and Cisco telephony systems, manage QoS issues, circuit capacity planning, etc. from a network perspective
- Experience with implementing Cisco ThousandEyes; someone who can architect and implement it
- Knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN, SD-Access, Catalysts Center and ISE is a plus
- Network firewall policy administration is a plus
- Hands-on experience of automation/scripting and configuration management tools such as Ansible
- University degree in Computer Science or a related subject
- Professional certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) is preferred
- Experience with Cisco: switches, routers, firewalls, Catalyst Center, ISE, WiFi
