We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Investment Managers’ Assistant to join our dynamic and busy investment management team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a group of experienced Investment Managers in delivering exceptional service to a diverse portfolio of discretionary and advisory clients. This is a non-regulated, administrative role focused on supporting the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring smooth client interactions and efficient portfolio administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the investment management team.
- Handle incoming and outgoing post, maintain office tidiness, and manage stationery supplies.
- Answer telephone calls, take messages, and record client interactions.
- Maintain key records and logs (e.g., Health & Safety, Financial Promotions, Complaints).
- Prepare documentation for client meetings and assist with meeting logistics.
- Liaise with internal departments such as Operations and Accounts.
- Ensure timely production and dispatch of client valuations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and assist with suitability reports.
- Support the onboarding of new clients and manage KYC documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English; A-levels preferred.
- An industry-recognised qualification (e.g., Investment Operations Certificate) is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a financial services or investment environment is desirable.
- A general understanding of the stock market and investment operations is beneficial.
