Pay Range Elevate Supply – Cover Supervisor (Sheffield) Pay: £85 – £110 per day (depending on experience) About the Role Elevate Supply seeks a confident and dynamic Cover Supervisor to support a secondary school in Sheffield. This temporary position provides an excellent opportunity to gain secondary school experience. You will ensure students complete pre-set tasks and manage classroom behaviour according to school policies. We are particularly interested in applicants with experience as: Sports Coaches – confident in managing large groups and behaviour management. Youth/Community Workers – experienced in youth or community settings, able to keep students focused. Tutors/Mentors – with relevant tutoring or mentoring experience, transferable to classroom supervision. School Experience – previous experience in schools, looking to develop further. Key Responsibilities Maintain an environment conducive to effective learning. Monitor student behaviour and provide feedback to leadership. Support students with their work, offering guidance as needed. Display confidence and authority in the classroom. Manage different subjects and tasks confidently. Engage students and collaborate with teaching staff. Requirements No planning or marking involved. Ability to manage classroom focus and behaviour. Confidence working with large groups and meeting expectations.
