Senior Carer – Wallsend

We currently have an opportunity for a Day Shift Senior Carer to join our Eothen Homes family at our dementia care home in Wallsend.

Position: Day Shift Senior Carer

Hours: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, working any 3 days out of 7.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage residents’ medication.
2. Oversee day-to-day household operations.
3. Promote and demonstrate person-centred attitudes and beliefs.
4. Lead the staff team to utilize their skills to enhance residents\’ wellbeing.
5. Communicate regularly through meetings, supervisions, and coaching with care assistants and domestics.
6. Develop clear strategies and plans involving the full staff team.
