Niyaa People are working with a well-respected housing association based in Gloucester! They are looking for a Capital Contracts Manager to join their Assets Team on a Permanent basis!
Location: Gloucester
Salary: £52,755

Responsibilities of the Capital Contracts Manager:
- Oversee the delivery of all Decent Homes programmes, ensuring that all properties are maintained to Government Decent Homes standard.
- Oversee the delivery of all retrofit and decarbonisation activity ensuring that you meet government targets and goals.
- Be responsible for the delivery of retrofit and decarbonisation government funded work ensuring compliance with scheme guidance.
- Oversee the delivery of legal disrepair claims leading on the cross organisational working group. On occasion, this will require representation in court for the organisation.
- Oversee the adaptation process making sure adaptations align with Adaptation Policy.
- Develop Asset Management procedures and processes to ensure they accurately reflect effective governance in the delivery of all capital and cyclical programmes.

Ideal Capital Contracts Manager would have:
- Substantial experience at a senior level of Asset Management, Property Investment and Public Procurement.
- A relevant management qualification, such as ILM Level 4 in Leadership and Management.
- A relevant technical qualification, e.g. CIOB, RICS or CIH.
- Demonstrable strategic experience of leading, managing, motivating and developing staff in a changing environment.
- A proven track record of managing resources, procurement activities, budgets and contracts with an ability to identify and eliminate risks, ensuring value for money and the delivery of high-quality services.
