An exciting opportunity has opened up for a full-time French Teacher to join the Modern Languages Department at one of our thriving secondary schools. We are looking for a passionate and committed French Teacher to become part of our dynamic school community. The ideal candidate will be a talented French Teacher with the ability to inspire and engage students in the study of the French language and culture.

As a French Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching French across various age groups and abilities. The successful French Teacher will deliver dynamic, interactive lessons that spark curiosity and foster linguistic skills. Prior experience teaching French to different key stages is desirable, as the role will involve helping students build confidence and fluency in speaking, reading, and writing.

We are seeking a French Teacher who is enthusiastic about creating an engaging learning environment and instilling a love for the French language in every student. Responsibilities of a Secondary Teacher:

  • Deliver and provide opportunities for students to learn and express themselves.
  • Ensure that students are engaged, motivated and on task.
  • Manage any behaviour issues that may arise.
  • Follow school policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress.

Requirements of a Secondary Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage behaviour effectively.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.

Registrations required to be a Secondary Teacher:

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, but if you do not have one, you can apply for a new one through Educate.
  • You must register with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) to work in Wales.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
