About the Role

A well-established multi-office firm is now looking for an experienced Legal Cashier ready to take the next step in their career. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive and highly regarded legal practice with a strong reputation across the Southeast, operating from offices in Kent, Surrey, and London.

Based at their Kent/Southeast London offices, the role involves covering all the cashiering functions which ensures the smooth running of the department in compliance with the SRA Account Rules and the firm’s own accounting and risk management procedures. You will be issuing cheques, bank reconciliations, processing conveyancing completions, billing, taking client card payments, processing electronic payments, processing petty cash, reconciling controlled trusts and processing cost transfers.

Candidate Requirements

They are looking for an individual who can work under their own initiative and has up to date knowledge of solicitor’s accounts rules. You will need excellent organisational skills, a friendly and co-operative attitude and be able to deal with a fast-paced environment. This role requires a confident, well organised individual who has worked in legal private practice.
