Make UK is seeking skilled electrical professionals to join their team in providing essential training to the next generation of engineers. This role involves developing and delivering engineering education, including qualifications such as Pearson BTEC National Diplomas, EAL Vocational Awards, and City and Guilds. The position focuses on teaching electrical skills up to level 3.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments
- Creating course materials including handouts and reference materials
- Delivering practical training to apprentices and adults
- Creating a motivational learning environment
- Assessing learners\’ progress and providing feedback
Ideal candidates will have:
- Relevant qualifications such as a Time served apprenticeship, City and Guilds (Part 3), or higher
- Level 3 (or higher) teacher training qualification (preferred)
- Industrial experience and current industry knowledge (desirable)
- Good communication and presentation skills
Safeguarding: The role requires an enhanced DBS check and references. The position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Applicants must not be barred from working in this sector.
