At CareScribe, we’re building innovative assistive technology that empowers people to access the world and level the playing field. Our products are used by thousands of people worldwide every day, helping to create a more inclusive society.
What we do
Our mission is to make workplaces and education more accessible by providing innovative tools that remove communication barriers. Our products, Caption.Ed, a captioning and note-taking software, and TalkType, a dictation software, are designed to support neurodivergent or disabled people in work and learning environments, reducing anxiety and boosting confidence.
Where you come in
This is a unique opportunity for a top performing sales person to join our team and crack into a brand new revenue market. We have a strong presence and good brand awareness in the Accessibility and Inclusion space. However, the new B2B Sales Executive will be focused on defining and exploring new ICPs that will benefit from our products for productivity and time-saving reasons. We’re looking for a motivated and creative problem solver to join our Sales team who has an effective, experimental and determined approach to outbound sales and pipeline building.
What you’ll be doing
- Getting stuck into outbound: Identifying and reaching out to potential customers who’d genuinely benefit from our products. It’s not just about following a script, you’ll test ideas, learn what works and help shape how we approach outbound as a team.
- Owning your pipeline: With a clear, structured approach (and tools like MEDPIC), you’ll manage opportunities end to end - making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
- Closing with intent: You’ll bring momentum to deals, knowing when to create urgency, how to keep things moving, and when to push (or pause) to get the right result.
- Reporting and forecasting: CRM records will be accurate and up to date, giving everyone visibility. You’ll own your forecast and keep timelines on track - for yourself and your prospects.
- Building relationships that count: From first contact to close, you’ll use smart networking, multithreading and champion building to build trust, secure commitment and grow deal size.
- Making connections: Represent CareScribe at events and conferences - building connections, sharing our story, and learning more about the space we’re in.
- Working together: You’ll collaborate closely with our Sales Specialist and the wider team - sharing insights, learning together, and building momentum as a team.
About You
- Energised by joining a growing Sales function and helping shape how we work - evolving processes, learning fast, and building momentum in a Greenfield market.
- Proven experience in mid-market SaaS sales, managing a 360 Sales Cycle, with a successful track record of hitting and exceeding targets.
- Comfortable with outbounding and resilient in the face of rejection. You're willing to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to open doors - whether that’s cold calling, building a LinkedIn presence, or testing new approaches.
- Strong discovery skills, able to uncover prospects’ needs and link them clearly to the value of our products. Familiarity with SPIN, SPICED or similar frameworks is a plus.
- Adaptable problem solver who can spot road blocks early and experiment with new ways of working to move things forward.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated and able to manage your time effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Skilled in negotiation and closing, with experience using tactics like champion building and multithreading to drive deals to close.
- You bring professionalism and persistence at every stage of the pipeline - from first contact to close.
