We require an ambitious Ground Investigation Engineer/Geologist/Engineering Geologist/Geo-environmental Engineer/Environmental Scientist to join our Ground Engineering Team in Leeds. Overview of team / business area The Land Quality team undertakes site assessment/investigation and reporting for diverse clients. You will manage bids, projects, fieldwork, data, and lead report preparation to advise clients. The role You will work on projects across sectors such as energy, property development, infrastructure, mining, local authorities, and waste management. Supervise ground investigation activities as a Site Engineer or supporting role, possibly working away from home for extended periods. Site work benefits include accruing toil, which can be taken as additional leave. Conduct land contamination, mining/geology, and ground engineering desk studies. Supervise site works, including soil and rock logging per UK standards. Perform site monitoring, groundwater sampling, and gas monitoring. Assist with site investigation design and reporting. Specify and supervise in-situ testing and sampling according to UK specifications. Liaise with clients, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors during site work. Assist in contract documentation and administration, including financial control. Assess and analyze geotechnical and geo-environmental data. About you We seek team members from graduate to senior levels, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
