I'm currently seeking a Solutions Engineer for a dynamic opportunity with my client. This role is perfect for an experienced engineer looking to transition into a solutions-focused position while leveraging their technical expertise to deliver exceptional results for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement customer-facing Disaster Recovery solutions, including smoke tests, drills, and invocations.
- Perform scripted and manual recoveries of virtual machines, physical machines, and various application types.
- Troubleshoot and maintain customer runbooks, recovery methods, and supported DR infrastructure.
- Assist in the configuration of switches and firewalls (pfSense) and in troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Document processes, procedures, and diagrams for completed tasks in tools like JIRA and Zendesk.
Accountabilities:
- Collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams to ensure Disaster Recovery readiness.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of hypervisor environments such as Hyper-V, Nutanix, VMware, and networking fundamentals (IP subnets).
- Uphold high standards for system reliability, documentation, and customer satisfaction.
