Motus Commercials, located in Burton-on-Trent, is seeking a dedicated DAFaid Technician to join our friendly team, providing exceptional service to our customers.
Working hours: 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (negotiable)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Overtime: Available at 1.5x, plus call-out and on-call payments (discussed at interview)

We are seeking an experienced DAFAid HGV Mechanic in Burton-on-Trent who can demonstrate:
- Time-served Technician with City & Guilds or equivalent qualification
- At least 1 year post-apprentice experience
- General mechanical ability
Main duties include:
- Servicing, adjusting, and repairing vehicles efficiently to standard
- Attending roadside repairs and vehicle recoveries, complying with safety and legal standards
- Reporting vehicle defects and potential failures
- Conducting vehicle inspections and reporting on condition, safety, and MOT readiness
- Following technical instructions and manufacturer protocols
- Identifying and reporting faults that may compromise safety or legality
- Protecting vehicles during repairs and ensuring cleanliness upon completion
- Participating in training courses and assisting in apprentice training
