25% RENT CONCESSION IN YEAR ONE
Could you run this St Mawes pub? Are you seeking an historic pub to run? Look no further than the Victory Inn, the oldest and only traditional pub in St Mawes, where the past meets the present! Dating back to the 16th Century, this charming pub offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere where guests enjoy quality food and cask marque accredited ales.
The pub and location: You’ll find this traditional Cornish pub nestled in the side street to the front promenade of St Mawes. The trade area consists of a bar area with a mix of fixed bench seating, which leads up to the first-floor dining area for thirty covers. The latter provides stunning river views leading to an external terrace overlooking the bay. The ideal operator will also take full advantage of the well-equipped catering kitchen.
You’ll find the Victory Inn in St Mawes in Cornwall, a small fishing village at the end of the Roseland peninsula. St Mawes is a lovely place to visit and an even better place to live with a strong community spirit. Surrounded by the sea and gentle hills, St Mawes is quite spectacular!
St Mawes and the Roseland Peninsula, Cornwall and the surrounding area is a Mecca for the boating and yachting fraternity. You’ll also find plenty of opportunities to attract new guests. St Mawes boasts three boatyards with numerous moorings and anchorages for yachts people visiting the Roseland Peninsula. The local sailing clubs in St Mawes, Portscatho and Portloe arrange racing events and evening functions for locals and visitors alike. In July 2015, the village hosted the first St Mawes Boat Show, displaying many local marine businesses. Of course, being right on the seafront, these villages are also a haven for the gastro enthusiast, with restaurants and pubs serving superb fish and shellfish dishes in addition to the more traditional dishes.
Ideal operator: We’re seeking a creative food operator. You’ll be a community Publican with a keen eye for detail and a perfectionist regarding compliance. You’ll know how to match the perfect drinks range with guests and be a stickler for superior service. If you also love creating and serving delicious food and can use social media to bring your pub experience to life, we need to hear from you.
Private accommodation: This excellent business provides two bedrooms.
