We are now seeking a full-time Property Operations Manager with prior experience in the short-term rental or hotel industry to lead and optimise our day-to-day operations.
Role Overview
As Property Operations Manager, you will oversee and enhance all operational aspects of our portfolio. This role is pivotal to ensuring seamless guest experiences, operational efficiency, and strong client satisfaction. You will work closely with internal teams, external suppliers, and our valued property owners to uphold the high standards synonymous with Curated Property. While your core responsibilities are outlined below, we’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is willing to wear many hats. You may be called upon to support other business functions, contribute to new initiatives, or step into areas outside your immediate remit as the company evolves.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight & Improvement: Oversee and continuously improve day-to-day operations across all properties. Ensure operational processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with company standards.
- Software Implementation & Process Optimisation: Lead implementation of new technologies and software systems to improve workflows. Train staff and support a smooth transition to updated platforms. Identify and execute opportunities to automate, optimise, and streamline operational processes.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the guest communications team. Foster a high-performing, service-oriented culture focused on excellence and accountability.
- Guest Communication & Case Management: Serve as a point of contact for guest enquiries, ensuring timely, courteous, and effective responses. Handle escalated guest or client issues professionally and proactively.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with property owners through regular communication and issue resolution. Ensure owners are informed, supported, and confident in our management services.
- Supplier & Contractor Oversight: Manage relationships with external partners including cleaners, maintenance providers, and linen suppliers. Ensure high quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in service delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control measures across the portfolio. Conduct regular property checks to ensure guest readiness and standards compliance.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track key operational metrics and prepare performance reports. Use data to inform decisions and improvements.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all properties meet legal safety standards and adhere to local regulations. Maintain up-to-date compliance documentation.

- Tech-savvy with experience implementing and managing operational software.

- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to work 2 Saturdays per month.
