About the Role
As a Chef de Partie you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the Butlins food propositions. Responsible for a specified section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of the dishes, following set recipe specifications and brand standards. You will oversee and manage small teams of commis chefs, ensuring the delivery of the food proposition in accordance with food safety policy. You will deputise in the absence of the Sous Chef, manage, and oversee the daily operations in your own section, ensuring efficiency and compliance with food safety policies.
You will maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations, and demonstrate these responsibilities as a behaviour standard to the Commis Chefs you lead, train and mentor with guidance and support as needed. You will prepare and cook dishes with pre-approved recipe specifications, ensure completion of relevant daily food diaries related to the role, and control budget margins with the support of the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

- Lead a team to continually deliver high standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Be hard-working, reliable, and proactive in seeking better ways for the team to consistently deliver brand standards.
- Be energetic, enthusiastic, and guest-focused, understanding the value you add to the guest experience.
- Possess or be willing to obtain Level 3 Food Safety qualification (not essential but preferred).
- Manage margins and control costs, and handle health, safety and hygiene responsibilities in line with policy.
- Work full-time permanent role with 35 hours per week, 5 days over 7, including weekends and late finishes; shifts from 7am to midnight.
- On-resort accommodation can be provided for those relocating.

Qualifications
- Experience in a similar level role in a kitchen.
- Ability to lead a team and deliver high standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Level 3 Food Safety qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Strong focus on food safety, cost control, and brand standards.
